Founders

We would like to honor our founders: Celia  Ehresmann, Karl Ehresmann, Elfriede Morgenstern and Joe Morgenstern. These four, at the urging of Karl and Celia, formed the Dallas Frohsinn Schuhplattler G.T.E.V. (Gibirgstrachten Erhaltungsverein) in 1977 and officially founded the organization in 1979. That organization became the Texanischer Schuhplattler Verein ca. 1982.

​Honorary Lifetime Members

The Honorary Lifetime Member Award is bestowed to a small but very distinguished group of individuals who have been recognized for providing a significant period of years of continuous and extraordinary service to the Verein. We honor them here as we would like to the world to know how thankful we are to these individuals for their service.
